That's what we should all do but there's more to it. You're pushing good works and ignoring salvation. Many good people won't get to heaven because they ignore God's only way to Heaven; Jesus.

God said: "if a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, it is detestable in His eyes". Now if they want to live together, be friends for life and leave all of their worldly stuff to each other, that's fine with me.

I think a lot of the Bible is crap. The moral of the story is to love each other and treat someone else as you would want to be treated. Who did Jesus tend to when he was here? The poor, the outcast, the ill. Not the rich majority. IF he was here today we wouldn't even see Him here in the US. HE would be where the poorest, most destitute live. HE befriended hookers and fisherman, the lowest on the totem pole when He was on earth.

Would you even see Him if He was here? You would label him crazy and ignore Him, if He wasn't surrounded by angels holding a sign over His head. I refuse to put judgement on anyone that is living a good life, trying their best. I don't care what religon they are or who they sleep with.

I would love to know why, when liberals want to raise our taxes, it's always "for the children". But then they turn around and want to take away a tax advantage that truly *is* for the children. I mean, you don't get much more youth-centered than Scouting.
