They seem more substantial and more texture. Thomas' always seem so small and thin to me. 🤷‍♀️
The 647 muffins had TOO much texture. I suppose it has a lot to do with the fiber content. They are more solid with no nooks and crannies. Live/Learn

Just sneakin' around....
Fried potatoes made from the leftover boiled potatoes from Friday's corned beef and cabbage, and a couple of very farm-fresh eggs, over easy.

Cooked up a pound of my homemade pork sausage and fried a couple eggs over easy in the little bit of grease left over (I make pretty lean sausage) and a tablespoon or so of cold-pressed virgin olive oil.

Paired with a fine 2022 Corona, suitably chilled.
That's a mighty fine breakfast!

I use McCormick brand country gravy mix. I caught Jimmy Dean Hot on sale this past week. The last batch I made, I used a really good local sausage. I hope Jimmy Dean doesn't disappoint me.
Jimmy Dean Hot sausage isn't even in the same category as the last local sausage I had. All I could taste is the heat. Maybe next time I'll try a milder sausage.

The Jimmy Dean Hot seems to be hit or miss the last few years.

The Maple and the Sage are usually pretty good.

:barf: Jimmy Dean is basically grease paired with some type of binding product; I don't think there's any actual pork in their pork.

did you take some of my sausage?...I always forget who I've given it to.

Come to think of it...that's probably partly the reason I've been married so many times..but I digress...

I guilted you into a package a while back, and I really did appreciate it. Good stuff, just the right blend of flavor/salt/heat/sage.

I usually buy Jones plain sausage. Don't care for maple or hot flavoring. If I want maple, it gets dunked in good syrup.

Pretty much the same, but the eggs were over-easy onto toasted Challah bread. And the eggs were from a local source.
Bacon from a local Mennonite, eggs from my own chickens, and homemade bread sandwich. I failed with the cheese, it's from Food Lion.....

Enso’s bakery has some of the best English muffins you’ll ever have.
