Just had breakfast at Leonardtown Diner. They didn't have SOS, but they had scrapple gravy. I had a side of it and poured it over my scrambled eggs and hashbrowns.
In college, instead of SOS, we called it Afterbirth on a Raft. That's good too, but I'm thinking Navy/CG style using ground beef and maybe a little onion,
Where's Leonardtown Diner? Is that Ye Old Leonardtown Cafe maybe?Just had breakfast at Leonardtown Diner. They didn't have SOS, but they had scrapple gravy. I had a side of it and poured it over my scrambled eggs and hashbrowns.

Thanks. Always looking for some place that I haven't tried yet for breakfast, thought I missed one. That's it. I can never remember it correct name.
I’ve had buttered tea before (and bettered rum) but buttered coffee is a new thingSince I'm in San Diego I has a Chorizo Egg Omelet, Avocado, Cream Cheese on toasted crossiant bread, and a hot buttered coffee.
The coffee shop I discovered during my last trip here is a block from my motel and specializes in hot buttered coffee. It grows on you, especially when it's made with the Espresso beans. If anybody else has had buttered coffee before, what are your thoughts?
The brew comes out of the espresso machine. They add the cream/milk, any sweetener, and a dollop of butter and whisk it up in a blender.I’m not sure what butter coffee is but something about it just doesn’t sound right.
For future reference, do not try to make it using instant Maxwell House as a base.Since I'm in San Diego I has a Chorizo Egg Omelet, Avocado, Cream Cheese on toasted crossiant bread, and a hot buttered coffee.

Made chicken salad yesterday, and it was delicious, so had a sandwich for breakfast.
And a tall glass of Sweet Iced Tea.
