I feel sorry for the family/people who knew him. I think the sign of the times when couples say I do for better or worst really means nothing more than until the bigger better deal come along. Sorry guess I'm just a old romantic. But my parents have been married thru thick and thin for sixty years...I wouldn't jump off a bridge for anybody. I do realize that some people can.

Friends from my church, and one of the things the husband said at the luncheon was: "there was never, and still is true to this day - never a time when my wife and I couldn't reason a disagreement out satisfactorily; where we both came away amicable with each other."
They never argued to the point where it became a brick wall, seperating their relationship.
You know, over 200 people got to their feet and applauded them?

I don't think it's magic at all. Just a decision in your own minds that NOTHING will ever be "big" enough to create a wall...to totally be a marriage breaker. :shrug:
