I accidentally shopped during a golden hour once. I didn't get arrested nor thrown out, but I sure got tired of saying, "WTF you lookin' at?" as they scattered 6 feet away as I pushed my cart along the aisle. I did feel bad after I figured out why the were looking at me like I had cooties.
The Calvert County Health Dept asked for a VOLUNTARY shopping day to coincide with your last name and every 5 days. This was more of a plea and definitely not a directive.

Cool. So masks aren't mandatory after all.

It is strongly recommended that both customers and employees wear basic face masks. People will not be denied food if they refuse to wear a mask,
Nope, they are as of tomorrow:

I think the confusion is that was originally posted on the Health Department's website last week 4/15/20, and just updated as of 4/15/20.

I went into Weiss earlier today and I think I might have been the only person in the store without a mask! Lots of eyeballs lookin' at me, too. :lmao:

I went to the P. Fred Post Office yesterday... Number one, they have purple tape on a blue floor for "distance lines" that you can barely see... Lady got snippy with me because I didn't see it and supposedly wasn't far enough from the next person (yet I was)... Funny thing was, there are 4 "checkout" areas. They had two employees working and they used two "checkouts" that are beside each other, so you are standing 3 feet next to the other customer... Braniacs in that building!!!

In New Braunfels maybe 10% of shoppers are wearing masks. Those folks are scurrying, darting glances at everyone, and acting like they might flip out any second. Everyone else is just shopping like normal.

I'm not freaked out but am sensitive to those who are, so I try to keep my distance but I haven't encountered too many people who seem to care or even notice. If the businesses and facilities weren't all closed down you wouldn't even realize anything was amiss.

#OperationGridLockMD needs to happen within a week, with the same, if not more, attire as Michigan.
#LiberationDay is 5/1/2020, where you open your business, church, or place that has been illegally shutdown

If this starts in SMCo. it won't stop me from shopping, but I do have to ask. My last name is middle of the alphabet. My SO's is the very end. Do the "Authorities" think they are going to actually kick one of us out on the wrong day? As if...
