Children and nutrition

I worked at a daycare right after high school and this lady used to give her overweight child a chocolate donut with chocolate frosting and chocolate milk for breakfast every single day. This poor kid was ridiculously overweight. He was the nicest sweetest little boy, well not so little actually. He's probably about 12 now...kids can be so cruel. I can only imagine what he's going through now.

Speaking of "bad" parenting...

Uh-oh

You should say something because banana ice cream is just no way to treat a child - not when you have Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie. I am ashamed to know someone who knows someone who would do such a horrible thing to a child.

...that. I'm not sure which is worse; banana ice cream or allowing a child anywhere near whip cream.

My dad never shared his cigarrete smoke with me. You are such a good dad. :huggy:

...point, when we were an unloved child, we just have to accept it and move on. Maybe Pete will adopt you? They say it's never too late to have a happy childhood.

No parent is going to sit there and tell you that they, without fail, are the absolute power in their household and their child bows down to each and every one of their wishes. If they are telling you that, they're either lying or part of some freaky cult like family where the punishment might include death for not following each and every instruction to the letter.

 learn how to quickly apply a finger lock and they will kneel before the master

CPS over banana ice cream for breakfast! I guess CPS will have to talk to the 10+ parents I've seen giving their children cookies, pudding, etc... for breakfast. Geesh.
