I saw a documentary years ago that followed two brand spankin' new Congressmen navigating their way through their first term. They were just everyman, wanting to represent their district and make a difference. They were so horrified by what goes on (as was the viewer) that neither of them ran for re-election. I wish I could remember the name of it....

And Musk will have no office. He and Vivek are advisors, not cabinet members. Dembots seem to think they will have absolute power , and in fact they will have no power at all unless you count the power of the mass media where Democrats have had an iron grip on for at least two generations.

THAT is why the Democrats (and many Republicans, let's not forget) are freaking out - because they'll no longer be able to get away with using our treasury as their own personal piggybank/slush fund and the American taxpayers not know anything about it.

We elected those aholes in Congress to take care of things, and they've screwed us royally. They've proven they cannot work unsupervised; DOGE is that supervision.

They have the power of the spotlight. If the stage crew keeps the lights off the leading man, he's not the leading man anymore. Elon and Vivek can keep the lights on the right things and people.
