Years ago, wife and looked at a house. Second floor around the bathroom had water damage and the first floor had all the drywall up two feet from the floor removed. Seems the couple that owned it were divorcing and selling.

The stadium deal was to transfer the site from the Fed to the DC govt. Then they can offer the site to the DC football team to build on. What might be hidden is the cost of removing the stadium that sits there.
