You cannot compare what you (or Jazz) did at all to Janey's situation, she's really still a a child and you're an adult. She hasn't lived life so she has no experiences to drawn on. The concerns she has now are very real to her.

I can compare. I have a sister Janey’s age. My mother has been dead a long time, and my husband and I was a very large contributor to her upbringing. None of her friends ended up knocked up.

I was not belittle Janey's concerns at all. She is young, she has had her education paid for and has been under the thumb of her parents a good majority of her life, thus far.

I think everyone was contributing what they felt about her concerns, and there was nothing belittling about it.

I'll be 50 in December. I'm finding that there's very little I feel bad about if I'm being honest. :jet:
