Man, you guys are some defensive moes. I was merely curious why a married man would be sitting at a bar watching TV by himself. Larry never did that when we were married, that I am aware of - he was either with me or his buddies. If he wanted to watch TV and drink beer he did it at home.
I happened to notice a good number of them in my carousing over the week, and now that mAlice has suggested that they may have been on travel my curiosity has been appeased because I'll bet that's exactly what it was.
Ok. Maybe "offended" was the wrong word. Perhaps "perturbed" or maybe even "curious" would have been better words to attempt to describe your posts on this topic.
You seem, uh, angry that, apparently, someone had the gall to talk to you while you were dancing and conversing with others, or something like that.
Good enough, or still condemning married (by a ring, I suspect) peeps that sit at a bar by themselves and attempt to strike up a conversation with an attractive member of the opposite sex?

I frequently hear people say that "guys" need some alone time. I think everyone needs that. Women get frustrated when they can't get away from their responsibilities to get some alone time, so they tend to resent their man if he manages to do so.
