They have a large garden. I’ve also been berry picking. Mine are coming in.

Really? I'll get blackberries in a few weeks - tons of them over my parents home.

Yup. I freeze bags of them.

Perfect attire for 95 degree day. My brother turned the a/c off over there and I can't figure out how to turn it back on. Honest to god it's miserable down that basement - between the heat and the dirt, spiderwebs, fiberglass. And my poor hair - it's as curly as Frieda's - you know the chick on Peanuts - when I'm finished.

No, Kevin's chicken doesn't have that problem.

Yeah. My wife tells me it's no longer a sit down restaurant. The bar is gone. It's transitioning to carry out only I guess. My wife said Kevin also has a small fresh seafood case that he's planning on expanding.

Good fried chicken? I'm still looking for some before the Fourth. I'm sorry to hear about the bar, never ate there before but I know people that swear by it. Carry out's good for me though and I miss Captain Pat's something fierce - sounds like a good alternative. Thanks.

Chicken is right up there with Chaptico Market. (Before their's became too salty.)

Really? The only two times I have had it, it was too salty to eat and I tossed it.
