Schoen and Carly Cooperman in an analysis for The Hill (Center bias) highlighted several notable recent polls that show Harris has tightened the race but questioned how sustainable the improved odds for Democrats will be. The authors also noted that the election is still nearly 100 days away, which they describe as “an eternity in politics.”
Media Hype: Noah Rothman (Lean Right bias) of National Review (Right bias) pointed to the media as being responsible for Harris’s recent surge in ratings and argued that a Trump victory, “once all but assured, is now in doubt,” as Harris has dominated headlines. Rothman warns that the media’s “sacrificing objectivity” as part of its alleged efforts to propel Harris to the presidency could backfire on reporters, as it has before.

The progressive Left and the base are enthused for now, but this ticket is extreme, and efforts to make them seem centrist will and should be laughed out of the room—there’s too much dirt on these two.
David Axelrod aptly noted that Harris is being buoyed by “irrational exuberance’ right now, that Trump is still ahead in the key swing states, it’s still a tight race, and it remains a contest for the former president to lose. It’s not like the Democrats’ switcheroo changed the landscape that much, and the national polling must be viewed with extreme skepticism, as Harris hasn’t had a major media interview nor been aggressively pressed on her record of failure.

Trump will try to steal 2024 like he tried to steal 2020, but the polls have clearly shifted.
Just look at the giddiness here and on right wing media when the S&P fell 3% on Monday and not a peep Tuesday when half those losses are recovered.
Everyone knows it’s done for Trump, thats why you’re hoping for an economic crash, or world war 3, or whatever insane disaster you come up with next.
