And on a side note, I heard on the radio that Hillary and Barack are tied with Edwards in the polling. If I were Hillary, that would piss me off. Barack, okay - he's a lightweight who doesn't have a clue and the only reason anyone likes him is because he's black. But Hillary should be whipping the crap out of Edwards.

What a pathetic caricature of the sanctimonious Conservative.

"Only my viewpoint is American. Only my party loves it's country. Only my side knows what's best for America. Everyone else is a communist/socialist/terrorist. Everyone else is wrong and only I am right."

It might be funny if you were joking around...but you're completely serious. :ohwell:

Thanks for saying so eliquently what I was thinking.

every single time?

one would think they'd stop trying then.

oh, or ar you exagurating to make it sound worse then it really is?

yes, just a couple of bad apples.

If every democrat was as bad as you say they seem to be, then approximatly 45-50% of the country would be in some kind of constant state of mailing death threats to all the republican leaders.

Sorry, was gone for a bit.

Speakers shouldn't have to try speaking. Everyone's safety should be taken for granted.

Ten minutes on yahoo search brought up these:

So maybe it's not EVERY SINGLE TIME, but I really can say I haven't seen a Socialist assaulted for speaking. Heck, the worst we've seen is the little twerp from Iran taking heat from Colombia's President.

Actually, liberals have a point and a place in our national discussions. It's the Leftist and Socialists that I have no interest in and refuse to engage their kookery.

My NY resolution is to stop using the term "liberal" when I mean "Leftist" or "Socialist".

And which of these successes are deserving even one dead American soldier??

Perhaps you'd like to define what IS deserving of American sacrifice? I mean we sacrificed in so many countries. Suddenly liberating a country like Iraq isn't worth it. Could it be because a republican started the war instead of a democrat? Naw... couldn't political could it?

meanwhile, the only success that really matters, a stable political solution to self governance, hasn't budged.

Well now, these "POLITICAL" successes and "self governnace" wouldn't even be possible had it not been for the sacrifices of our American soldiers?

Not worth it? You just made it worth it.

... nothing to the conversation.

Go back over to the DU, frosty. When you have a productive statement to make in an argument, come back.

And in our country, a new majority was elected into office and just what have they accomplished?

And for every story linked to in your post, I can link 10 stories of murders in our country. Another pointless argument trying to deflect from the truth. Hope you got plenty of tin foil as taxes will make it more expensive for you to make your hats, courtesy of MOM.
