Same as Lusbymom but have had to start wrapping some of them cause boyfriends daughter is used to that at her mom's, so depends on what they get.

I never allowed them that joy to spare them the trauma (really) I felt and still feel when I found out he (Santa) wasn't real.

They have plenty of enjoyment during the holidays and were never deceived.

There is no easy let down (IMO) once you've been lied to. Same with the tooth fairy and easter bunny.

I can't wait to go sit on Santa's lap tomorrow. I'll be pulling off his fake beard.

I am going to post my favorite Santa pic in the Private forum just for the ladies!

Oh geez. :bawl: He is too smart. I'd want the same if Santa were real. :bawl:

Maybe you could explain to him that Santa IS magic but he can't overrule God...who "took" his grandparents because he needed them.

I tried that :( He misses them so much. When my mom first passed away he said that Grammie should've taken her cell phone so that she could at least talk to us.

Really you were traumitized??? WOW  I never felt that way. I found out on my own at about 7/8 years old but I never let on. I heard something outside on Christmas eve...really late.. so I peeked out the window and what did I see??? My sister's dad carrying a bike across the yard from the neighbors.

Nice lady!
He does more around the house as far as housework goes than the other's do because he is homeschooled and older. I am also disabled as you know and he helps me out A LOT! So, he asked for several years for an XBOX360 so I managed to get him one this year. He is going to flip! :lmao:

Oh I see. I did not know you were disabled. :huggy: What a good boy he is, and the Xbox is a great present!!

I really didn't find out I just came to the realization over the years. I believed for a few more years just because I heard what I thought to be Santa eating our cookies. It was my dad but the chomping noise of what could have been Santa kept me goin'.

:bawl: I do not envy you one bit. I have no other advice but I surely hope he can somehow understand that Grammie is still watching him even if she can't call. :frown:

I've asked ALL of mine if they were "mad" that I did the Santa thing. All four have said "no way" and agree to carry on the *magic* for their very young cousins...and they are having so much fun with it really.
