I have no intentions of doing that. It looks to painful. Besides, I was deemed hyper-sensative to pain by a doctor last week.

We had a white gal in my cosmetology class that had nappy hair. She wasn't even mixed or anything.juggy4805 said:I have never seen a white girl with nappy hair.
Does "ho" still mean "whore"?vraiblonde said:What's amazing to me is that everyone's so up in arms about the "nappy headed" part. Imus called those girls whores. THAT is the biggest offense, IMO.

It's racism that's important.vraiblonde said:What's amazing to me is that everyone's so up in arms about the "nappy headed" part. Imus called those girls whores. THAT is the biggest offense, IMO.
But like other words in pop culture they take on a meaning different than the originated.vraiblonde said:That's where it comes from.
Me too, I thought it was gansta for female.Charles said:I got the impression it was all inclusive. Even yo momma qualified.
That's acceptable in society now, at least with teenage girls. At least with what I've noticed, girls say "You're such a whore" and say it in the context of "You're so cool" now. It's a shame how today's society glorfies the ugliest of words and has become an oasis for the double standard.vraiblonde said:That's where it comes from.
Offensive words like ho and racial terms have double meanings. If used by a group of the same stereotype, the word is all of a sudden acceptable in that group of society. But, if one person of a different race utters the same word, it's foul mouth racism. Same word, different meanings.Pete said:But like other words in pop culture they take on a meaning different than the originated.
