kind of off topic, but related. was shopping yesterday and the cashier said they cant keep up with the prices. by the time they are programmed and inventoried, theyve gone up again, she said they quit putting prices on things. i.e., my dryer sheets showed $7 something on the shelf, rang up at 9 something

I need a car that runs on methane captured from the drivers seat. My trips will consist of frequent trips through a Taco Bell drive-thru.

Stopped by the marina today to see about filling up my boat in the next couple of days. $5.50/gal for 87 non-ethanol. Good thing I only need 110 gallons or so..... ;-(

Yikes. Might be a few less people out boating this spring.

Drove the foul weather vehicle to work today. I stopped at $40 just to have a little in there for the off chance the weather is ugly tomorrow. I was surprised that it registered almost full.

Chatting with the guy that runs the TT operations and flips boats on the side, he said the market is already beng inundated with used boats.
I expect the RV/trailer market to do the same. I figured it would anyway after everyone bought an RV during the pandemic and used it once or twice. With fuel prices up now, very few will want to travel.
