Get your free crack pipe

How do I get my free pipe? Since it's from the government I can assume if I put it in a shadow box I can keep it on my office wall at work.

Why am I surprised no one actually read the article?

No federal funding will be used directly or through subsequent reimbursement of grantees to put pipes in safe smoking kits.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki blamed 'inaccurate reporting.'

The crackpipes 'were never a part of the kit. It was inaccurate reporting and we wanted to put out information to make that clear,' she said.

I guess this fake outrage gives y’all 4 pages of circle jerk chatting covering drug addicts, gov’t spending, and even Nancy Reagan?!?

Just read the article next time, it was all made up by Rubio as he is in a very tough senate race:

Cause that'll be checked ever. Once the locals get the money, they will do what they want.

BTW, what other drug smoking supplies might be in a smoking kit? Matches? Maybe a Bic? I know, there will be apples or oranges and tin foil!!!! Perhaps some "random" brass fitting?

So there is nothing to story that they are going to distribute "safe smoking" kits?

So, again please. Someone show me any article referring the smoking kits that do NOT include a pipe. I'll be waiting.

What, do they include rolling papers? The media top cover on this is pretty fast and furious. "It could consist of anitspetic wipes and lip balm. And could lead to conversations with addicts that steer them towards better choices".

Jebus Jimminy Chrsitmas!!!!!!

EVERY SINGLE article previous to the backlash mentions pipes, now its like it never happened.

They deliver?

Snowden says he received a call this week from a recovering addict.

“She received at her home a packet coming from the Anne Arundel County Health Department, which included in it crack pipes,” said Snowden.

If you are an addict on the govt roll, evidently they did. Heres the quote from the AA County Health Officer detailing whats in a safe smoking kit.

The Anne Arundel County Health Officer, Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman, referred to the crack pipes as “safe smoking kits” included as part of the County’s harm reduction program.

Kalyanaraman says these harm reduction efforts have been underway for about a year and a half.

The hard reduction kits began as a way to provide hygiene supplies and Narcan to the community.

He says over time -- the County provided more supplies like safe sex and wound care supplies.

About six months ago, according to Kalyanaraman, the harm reduction efforts began including syringes.

In addition to reducing infection, the Health Officer says syringe programs increase engagement with drug users and provides opportunities to refer people to care.

Through this program, he says it was discovered that some drug users were smoking drugs with metal or plastic pipes – possibly leading to wounds or infections.

“Once we get past that visceral reaction we get to the point of helping people,” Kalyanaraman said by phone Friday.

Kalyanaraman said safe smoking kits had only been distributed this week.

The kits have now been taken out of circulation until more conversation can be had with the community.

Let me ask this question.
You are riding along in your vehicle and a Police Officer stops you.
Can he arrest you for having drug paraphernalia if he spots your free crack pipe from the Government?

Ah, sounds like a well thought out plan to rid the communities of drug addicts.

The officer gets stuck in a logic loop and freezes up.

1. MUST ARREST PIPE HOLDER!!!!!
2. BUT MY GOVT GAVE HIM THE PIPE
3. REFER TO NUMBER 1

So - since I know practically nothing about smoking drugs - I looked up safe smoking kits -
With few exceptions, they generally included either a bong or a pipe.

I guess what I don't totally get is, the government is planning to provide grants for these kits - which are legal - but the substances intended to be USED by them are *illegal* and potentially lethal?

Why is the government providing this again?

Don't want to get lead poisoning from using a makeshift crack pipe.
