Getting along with the Ex

My ex and I get along fine now. Of course we've been divorced since 81. At first it was a little difficult, but when you have kids together, you grow up and think of what your doing to the kids by not getting along. Now we have grandkids and get to enjoy the benefits of attending birthday parties, school events, etc. together.

I know a now divorced used-to-be couple where I work. She has re-married. I don't know about him. He told me they are still friends; better friends than spouses.
They don't avoid one another; they are civil to each other; but that's only how I've seen them act at work, so I don't know the whole story.

They sound like adults that can keep things professional in the workplace. :yay:

Yanno you didn't have to air our crap here. The house is pretty much done and I'll be going back this weekend. :duh:

And how do you know where Thor has been the last two years? :tap:

Well, if you didn't grate on my nerves so much, I'd let you stay longer.

I know where Thor has been the last two years because of who you lived with. :nono: I can't believe that thing hasn't shrank up and fell off yet.

:roflmao:

My ex in staying with me right now because his girlfriend threw him out.

I said he could stay a few days. It's been a few weeks. The jerk needs to go like, YESTERDAY. He's driving me insane. I prefer him to be an ex not staying at my house.

ONLY reason I allowed him to stay is he is my daughter's father and he'd be living on the streets. It's time he go live on the streets before I kill him.

It sounds like you need to have someone over to make a lot of loud "noise" with you so that your ex gets the idea that you don't want him there. Just a suggestion.

I walked in a bar and 3 exes were sitting by a pool table. When I walked up same noticed them all 3 said hi. Then all 3 guys looked at each other. It was very akward. I started laughing then walked away.

Or you could take the less passive-aggressive route and simply throw him out.
