It's bad I suppose to speak in generalities, like saying democrats have been taken over by criminals and pedophiles.
I offer this as a generality and wait for someone to deny it.
Democrats are a party of gutless, mindless, buffoons, who were elected to vote according to their conscience on what is best for the United States.
Instead they vote the way they are told to vote or they vote for what is best for their re-election.
They have a few strong leaders who stay in power by using an iron fist to keep them in line and not one of them has the balls to stand for what they know is right. Yes Steny I mean you too. Just another party stooge.

I'd like to see more Democrats abandon this going off the rails craziness. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Republican party and I'm not opposed to having another party ensure they stay in line. But the way the modern Democrat party is, it can't be them.

That's kinda what Vrai and I are saying. Maine votes blue for the most part, so Collins may be doing what the majority of her constituents want, thereby protecting her reelections.
It is what her constituents want. Maine is a hard Democrat state, Collins is the only "Republican". Which shows how stupid Mainers are because you'd think they'd put in an official Democrat to help that Senate majority.
