The ones that used a bullshit excuse to vote against him, I'd sure like to know what skeletons they're hiding. Maybe Little Marco wants to take a peek.

They said Thom Tillis (R-NC) was waffling on Pete too. Trump was right to go to NC yesterday to remind Tillis about Trump's support in NC. Between that and Pete meeting with him again yesterday was enough to get Tillis back in the Yes column.

The vengeful side of me would like to see Trump make McConnell and Murkowski pay some kind of price.

Murkowski and Collins will never be primaried because those states want to vote Democrat and being Leftist tools is the only thing keeping these Senators in office. Primary them and the Democrat wins in the general, Republicans lose the majority.

The majority is not that great when you have people you cannot count on.
Sorry: I said when you have people you cannot count on.
You can always count on Murcowski and Collins.
You can count on them to vote with the democrats.

You have to put up with Collins because Maine is blue. I believe Murkowski can be primaried. Alaska is red enough that a Dem would have an uphill battle to win that Senate seat.

Alaska went for Trump in 2024. Murkowski was re-elected in 2022, so she isn't up again until 2028.

Is there a pony to be found in this pile of horse sh!t?

"Is Pete Hegseth—who failed to manage the finances of veterans’ nonprofit groups, who drove his organizations into debt to the point where he could not even pay creditors—really the person Republicans want in charge of the Pentagon’s budget?" Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., wrote on X before the vote.

If not, it's a shame he can't be sued for defamation or something.

Murkowski only wins because of the stupid ass "best two" arrangement they have in the primaries. Granted, that means she runs against ANOTHER Republican -

But this is precisely the same thing that happens with a DEMOCRAT state - corruption wins, when there's just one party.

Honest to God, I don't know WHAT the Dems have to gain by shooting down Hegseth. It's as though ANY victory they can pull over Trump then can celebrate.

Reminds me of a saying of a guy I used to know - "Never have a vomiting contest with a vulture - even if you WIN - you LOSE." They're squabbling over EVERYTHING, trying to win an inch here and there - and the public has just had it up to HERE with a Congress more determined to fight, than actually accomplish anything. In the end - they're going to lose FIGHTING him constantly, especially battles they're destined to lose ANYWAY.
