Of course it doesn’t……. if you’re not familiar with the facility it wouldn’t make any sense to comment on the issue at the hearing on either side.. This Thread was intended for people to come and support a local business.
Welp. Rules are rules. If they screwed up, what's the point of pleading for public support vis the liquor board?

Every time I had something before the liquor board or the board of appeals, public statements of support were very important. Last time I was one of the supporters was for Capt. Pat's new liquor license a couple years ago.

Public opposition can be there too....

Again, your ignorance is showing. This hearing has nothing to do with the liquor license.
From their website .... "We goofed. We made a mistake when we submitted our renewal application for our liquor license — and we’ve had to reapply."

Really?

Why do you continue to make a fool of yourself?

I am so very blessed
We love this restaurant, and hope whatever obstacles they encounter can be overcome.

The food is consistently fabulous, the view amazing, the staff courteous and thoughtful. Additional, they have made wonderful improvements to the building and property to make it an actual destination to an otherwise barren and neglected area.

I have a vested interest in seeing this restaurant succeed (I love great food!), and hope they can get these crippling regulations off of their back so they can do what they do best - serve their customers.

This may well be too late for *this particular situation, but something I recently found out about over here in Calvert County is that there are TONS of Boards (for everything - all types of committees, commissions, etc.) that have OPENINGS. If there isn't an opening right now - there will be.

Typically, they are VOLUNTEER positions and take very little "overall" time to participate on. Maybe a few hours a month.

I recommend everyone checking into / getting a list of those Boards (not sure where that list would be, someone compiled one for us in a group I belong to) and check them out. You may find a Board that you're interested in and can apply to be on one. Those people wield a lot of power, it seems and are filled to the gills with Liberals a lot of the time.

PM me some links to your contacts. In 35 years of dealing with projects in this county, I've yet to find the palm to grease.
Seems you don't play the game well and aren't part of that certain clique. Expand your horizons. You have to be the one to initiate that graft. It's not the other way around. Silly.

So you got nothing but pure BS and conjecture...your usual fare.

It is AMAZING what a little greasing of the palms can do to the receiver of a benediction. I wonder if the DEA, Army Corp of Engineers, MDE, et al, signed off on this little project?
DNR, Corp of Engineers, MDE and Public Works all had to sign off on my most recent critical area project. Took several years. Construction starts next month. It's all within the 100' buffer.

Really?

It could be a minor bureaucratic blahblah. It doesn't necessarily mean there was some major error that would preclude them from keeping their liquor license or providing outdoor dining.

As you noted in a subsequent post, palm greasing talks.

:lmao: That is a fat load of chit right there. If I know, you know.

I once had my rental house zoned for business and expedited simply because I knew who to ask.
