Do you stop to consider your actions at all? The poor animal you kill belongs to a family. Think of the poor kid who wants to know why his cat does not sleep on the bed with him anymore. What about the old person, who only has the cat for a companion or the couple who could not have kids and their children are cats. You selfish actions bring alot of pain and hurt to others. Just remember bcp, karma is a #####.

Yeah, BCP, ya selfish bastard.

A Salute to all on Watch
I edited my post.

I'm with several others on here, I think you should just live and let live some. What about the birds that chit in your gardens and on your vehicles? What about the voles and their droppings, the racoons, the possums, the deer. :jameo: You can't live in a bubble BCP no matter how hard you try. Then again, I'm not surprised on this, given your intolerance for minorities and gay people either. :yay: You spin this around to be the owners fault to justify you harming a perfectly innocent cat. If anything you say its the owner's fault - well grow a set, track them down and take it out on them, not the cat. God help it if someone's unidentified kid crosses your path. :yay: :sarcasm:

BCP; You are such an intolerant HATER!! :killingme

and we hear from another ass that lets their cats run loose.

worst part of free range cats is getting them out of the tire treads.

You callin' me an ass? You funny.

As I said, I have a farm. In 25 years no one HAS EVER had an issue with my cats. They are all spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, fed, loved, cared for, AND HAVE NO REASON to leave my property. My point, *insert* was/is that other people's critters do invade my property. GET OVER IT!
Not everyone is as perefect as you, not everyone has the VEHICLE to be envied, or the perfect garden AND not MANY will stoop to your actions. GET OVER YOURSELF.

If you have a farm then let your cats roam. But if you live in a neighborhood keep them in the house or on a leash. My dog can't roam so why should your cats. If it got loose that is diffenrt but you better be out trying to catch it like we have to do with our dogs.
And I REALLY don't care about hurting cats. I have yet to flintch when I did run over a cat in my car. Other animals I might feel bad about but not cats.

I hate hitting them with the car. really pisses me off that some people care so little for their cats just to let them out to get hit.
If you dont like cats, why get one? I dont understand.

Last time I hit a cat, some of the meat got stuck to my muffler, for two days that car smelled like a chinese resturant.
Had a blind guy trying to buy lunch through the passenger window because he thought it was the lunch wagon.
Semi true story

seriously, if you really dont want to have your cat hit, why would you let it run? (not you personally, you in general)

Its like letting your baby swim in the shark tank then getting pissed off when all thats left is a part of the diaper.

Keep your frigging domestic rodents in your own yard.
There is no need for me to be cleaning cat poo out of my gardens, or to be finding little kitty prints on my truck every morning.

Here is the deal. Ive talked to these people, the didnt care, claimed they couldnt make their cats stay in their yard.

Ive warned these people, they dont care, think Im joking.

Tonight Im setting traps, and when I catch their cats, Im going to skin them and throw them on the grill, I will leave their roasted cats on their front porch for them to feed their families.

I like cats, I just cant eat a whole one by myself.

Mix some Fancy Feast with some anti-freeze. :yay:

Instead of trapping and or killing, I think that what I will do is just get a couple Pitt Bulls and turn them loose on the property. My 5 acres is fenced in so they wont get loose and terrorize people, but anything that comes into the yard will be a light snack for them.

Dogs I can deal with, cats? not so much.

The perfect solution. I wont have to do a thing.

I agree 100%. I'm having the same problem with cats in my neck of the woods. I'm thinking about going Rambo on their a@#.

They're out to get us
Cats have been running around loose on this earth for almost 10,000 years. Let me know if you find a place without cats running around.

I've lived plenty of places where I have never seen a cat outside before, even though plenty of people have cats as pets. I've also had cats and kept them inside. I imagine most places with a good HOA would have a rule against it. I've only noticed them outdoors in crappier areas that don't tend to care about their property value.

That is one of the ugliest things I can think of. I know some folks who can't prove it but, know damn well this mean SOB next to their farm shot their dog. They swear he was a good dog.

It's one thing if their animal is a menance and a danger to people, kills your animals or livestock, etc, a cat turd, climbing in the Escalade and sleeping on the plush seats, I mean, that has got to be something people can work out.

I would have agreed with you, since my thought on working it out is that rational people would understand the issue and keep their cats locked up inside where they belong if they're pets, but after reading this thread it doesn't seem to be something that they care about. I don't know whether they're just irrational or just don't give a crap about other people's opinions and property, but it doesn't appear to be workable. What are you going to do, tell your kitty it is naughty and that it needs to stay on your property? I don't think cats will understand that very well.

So either the cats would have stay inside (where they'd probably terrorize that house and geez, we just can't have our own property damaged by our pets now can we?) or the people who are being terrorized by the outdoor pets would need to take action into their own hands to stop it.

If people would just leave cats alone and let them be cats, we would not have any problems. Cats dont attack people, they cover up thier poop and they help control the small critter population.

In some cases cats that were once indoor cats become outdoor cats when they don't use the litter box well (or at all). So instead of having that cat put down, it becomes an indoor/outdoor or outdoor only cat.

Generally cats don't hurt anyone, nor do they usually destroy property. The risk of cats being at large is obvious. I don't like ANY cats to end up hurt or killed while they are running loose, but we know that's a possibility.

It's the twisted people who get pleasure from killing that worries me. Would be bad if someone applied that "kill what I want" attitude to the cat killer ..... it's just a choice like the cat killer makes .... just a different target. Anyone with the desire to kill other living things just because they want to :)cds: on their part) needs to be confined so they can't harm others.
