Z104 wasn't taken offline due to too few listeners..... it lost it's lease of the office and TOP took over since their parent company held the lease agreement. Kicked out Z104 to the dismay of alot of ppl.

Z104 had been a ratings dud for many years, and owner Bonneville decided that it would be best to move ratings giant WTOP from its scratch AM home at 1500 to 103.5 for better coverage in office buildings around the metro area.

If they had the numbers, they'd still be on the air. That's the bottom line and always will be. Stations that are doing well don't suddenly disappear.

Whatever... I still like that format better than the other crap on the airwaves now. But that's JMHO.

Well, IMHO, Moondoggie needs to get on and start chatting it up on the radio station. I'm tired of hearing no weather, no news, etc. Once he is up and running, I'll give a listen. And I hope he doesn't have a girlie voice.
