they said from the start that it was going to hit ... due to the high pressure to the northeast... and the other front coming it would pull it in.
if the system from the west hit us before the hurricane ever came close.. it would have pushed sandy to the east.

We had fun last night having made the decision to shut in Reno and Sage. Freaking tin roof starts coming off and it's mud and wind and two scared ####less horsies stuck inside while I beat on the tin roof with hammer and nail on the second to top rung of the ladder that is JUST tall enough in a ####ing gale that is making EVERYTHING make noises that simply geek them up some more.
It's OK, ponies! Just chill!! Almost done!
Happy ending. Was able to find enough good wood, pretty quick, to get it done.
