:tap: What did you do Dems?

Traffic ticket?

Move into somebody's house while they were away?

The answer is yes and they allow choices for C.S., such as, going to the senior centers for Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners and serving food to them. Just watch out for flying food.

Also, there is the cancer tree thingy at the J.C.'s, forgot the name, and help out there. But if you have to get stuck doing C.S., this is a perfect time of year, many more choices than any other time.

What if it's something like 8 hours
What exactly do you do. Hypothetically, this person in question has not gotten the court date yet... and was just wondering what community service entails in advance.

It could be anything from washing fire trucks to scooping of dead animal carcasses from the side of the road...

No, I accidentally hooked up someone's trailor to the back of my truck when they were away and I accidentally drove off...

I'm sure they will be very understanding if you have something better to do and don't show up. Let us know how it goes...

I am so very blessed
I've done community service on three separate occasions because of speeding tickets - a few years ago, mind you. It was a piece of cake. You must pay a fee to get into the program. I did filing in the Parole & Probation office during Christmas break once; another time I filed at the Social Services office. Don't recall what I did the third time. If I ever get another ticket, I'd try to get community service again.

Could this person opt to pay a fine vices performing community service?

Yes a $523.00 fine and 5 points off this person's license and was advised to take the court route and hope for community service. :ohwell:

Well, now isn't that special. :ohwell:

This hypothetical decription in no way, shape or form should be compared with the standard "got caught going 10 over the speed limit" kinda community service. :twitch:

Not sure how you came up with the hypothetical number of "8 hours" service.... I would think the judge would expect more than that.
