I bought a cabbage

Shred it, mix it will a little olive oil, salt and pepper and fry it. The cabbage will reduce down and it's really good like this; daughter uses butter on hers and I use vinegar, wife uses nothing...

Nine pages in a cabbage thread? I'm not doing it.

Did anyone mention Haluska? We LOVE it - not as healthy as grilling the cabbage but it's darned good!

Melt butter in a large frying pan, add a sliced onion and cabbage that you've cut into strips. Stir and cook until the onions and cabbage are tender. Add cooked wide noodles and toss. Season with salt and pepper.

I usually add a sliced kielbasa to the pan when I start (or cook it separately) and call it dinner, but that's not traditional Haluska. Traditionally it's served with sour cream, but really it's yummy without it.

Easy

Fry up with some butter and then add wide egg noodles and salt and pepper to taste.

It's also good with fried ham or fried keilbasi in it

More difficult

Stuffed cabbage

Doh! I just saw your post. Now I'm a MAROON for posting the same recipe. Haluska is a favorite around our house. :buddies:
