When a cop commits a crime against any innocent citizen I would want to see them judged and punished accordingly, but since it's such a rare occurance I dont spend a lot of time dwelling on it.
That said, there are a large number of asshats that would end up having far better interactions with police if they just behaved in a civilized manner and used the smallest measure of courtesy and manners when interacting.
