MSNBC Accuses GOP Of Pushing 'Christian Nationalism' In Schools

During a conversation with Salon’s Kathryn Joyce took aim at the left’s latest boogeyman: Hillsdale College, “And how is Hillsdale -- talk more about the connection between Hillsdale and Ron DeSantis specifically. We know that [Hillsdale President] Larry Arnn is a big fan of Ron DeSantis. But Hillsdale’s actually in some of the Florida laws regarding education. What happened there?”

[clip]

Joyce agreed that is “part of the goal,” but that “Christian nationalism” is still key, “So, Hillsdale College, back in 2010, started this network of public charters. Public classical education charters around the country, that were teaching a curriculum that is kind of really big on American exceptionalism, Western civilization, the idea that the U.S. was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, which is sort of secularized language for Christian nationalism.”

It is not, but Joyce kept going, “they have grown to have an influence and 53 these schools around the country that are paid for by public tax dollars but are advancing this very private school classical education –“

Wagner interrupted to add Joyce’s two favorite words, “Christian nationalism.” Joyce naturally agreed and warned it isn’t just DeSantis, “Exactly… Governor Bill Lee in Tennessee announced that he wanted to create 50 of these Hillsdale-affiliated charter schools in Tennessee. Other states have, you know, expressed interest in implementing Hillsdale's curricula. So it really has quite a big footprint.”

MSNBC guest Roland Martin on Saturday demonized millions of Trump supporters.

“We are at war with these people. These folks are evil. They have allowed evil into their house with Donald Trump,” Roland Martin said.

“This evil is spreading. And when you are in a war footing, you have to respond accordingly. It is about time Joe Biden got tough. Stop being weak, stop being impotent, quit not fighting back. What these people want to do to this country is destroy democracy,” he added.

MSNBC host Tiffany Cross chimed in and said Republicans are “the biggest threat to democracy.”

“Obviously Republicans are, I think, the biggest threat to democracy. We don’t separate right-wing extremists and Republican Party anymore,” Tiffany Cross said.

MSNBC Guest FREAKS Over 'Evil' DeSantis Migrant Shipment

On Thursday night’s edition of MSNBC’s The 11th Hour, leftwing crackpot and MSNBC political analyst Fernand Amandi had a complete meltdown over Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) sending two planes filled with illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. Amandi cried that it wasn’t a political stunt but was instead “an act of evil being done by evil men” because DeSantis is apparently using the migrants as “political pawns, and political props.”

Amandi wanted everyone to know that “this is not a political stunt.” According to Amandi, a political stunt is “Doctor Oz running for the Senate in Pennsylvania when he resides in New Jersey.”

According to Amandi, when you “lie to them under false circumstances and tell them you're taking them somewhere under false pretenses, and using them as props?” “That is an act of evil! And it is an act of evil being done by evil men! Who are using children and good faith parents, coming to this country,” he wailed.

He surmised incorrectly that DeSantis is “trying to change the conversation from the Dobbs decision, overturning Roe v Wade and make the 2022 midterms about immigration.

“It is the most cynical, cheap, and evil tactic. And I don't think it's going to play here in Florida. I think that Ron DeSantis overreached this time,” Amandi said, screaming into the television camera.

He also took issue with the idea that DeSantis had reportedly sent a videographer to Martha’s Vineyard so they would have footage of the migrants landing so that he would “have his minions at Fox News waiting the moment the plane landed to put it on the air.”

Bursting into a fit of rage once more, Amandi cried “It is the most debasing, and un-American, un-American act of evil that I've seen! It makes me ashamed to be a Floridian under this Governor!”

Texas & Florida have been sending immigrants to cities for months now. Send a few to a liberal playground and they go nuts .

They must have their search data blocked because a search of Sundial doesn't show any posts.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough Compares DeSantis to Segregationists

Stupid takes are just what he does – so his take on Saturday comparing DeSantis flying 50 non-American on a luxury private plane to Martha’s Vineyard was some much like KKK segregationists sending black Americans north in 1962.

Scarborough was agreeing with a Politico article that tries to juxtapose southern racist segregationists with Ron DeSantis.

The article details how in 1962, southern racists sent black Americans north in an attempt to shame northern states. Politico recounts that the first black man in the group, David Harris, was greeted by Ted Kennedy who welcomed Harris. Kennedy made a point to publicize it too. Why? Because Kennedy was running for Senate. Harris found work as a cook. Most of the 200 who were eventually given bus tickets north by segregationists did not.

After Kennedy’s greeting, they were not greeted with warm arms, meals, and new clothes like at Martha’s Vineyard.

On Cape Cod in 1962, resentful residents told them there were no jobs. Many northern mayors loudly complained. There’s some rich irony in that. In both cases, some Massachusetts residents put on an initial show but Politico only tells us of one man having found full-time work. In the case of Martha’s Vineyard, residents put on a show but within 44 hours, they had shipped everyone off-island.

Because These Are Actions Progressives Want To Take

"Maybe now it is all about the violence. It all is about an insurrection. It all is in — in his mind about a civil war," Scarborough said to Heilemann.

"Yeah. I mean, totally possible, Joe. And I’d say two things about this, right. One in 2020, Donald Trump got more votes in 2020 than he got in 2016 by a lot. Millions more votes, right...There’s a lot of things that Donald Trump as he did in 2016, as he come close doing in 2020 can become president without winning a popular vote majority. That’s one thing," Heilemann replied. "And I think that’s very much in his head. He’s been told over and over again by strategists that that is the path for him. Not — he can’t win — he couldn’t in 2016, he couldn’t between 2020 and he won’t in 2024 win a majority vote."

"And that’s the danger, is that the fact that at the base is getting smaller, it makes it more dangerous in a lot of ways because those are the people who are willing to do things like take up arms and and press the questions that lead to press the questions and tactics that lead to civil war," he continued.

Heilemann's and Scarborough's comments were made after 41-year-old Shannon Brandt admitted to police he ran over 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson in North Dakota over a belief the young man was an extremist Republican. There is no evidence to support Brandt's belief.

The latest attack on Graham came from the tolerant folks at MSNBC, who in a roundtable discussion joked about Graham’s sexuality by joking that he had never seen a woman naked, so he shouldn’t be proposing legislation with anything having to do with abortion.

In 2020 the Left went crazy on Lindsey Graham spreading scurrilous rumors about him, and more interestingly they conducted a Twitter shaming campaign with the hashtag “Lady G.” Imagine if the parties were reversed.

This wasn’t some low grade Twitter trolls. It went all the way to up to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign:

No Peep From Capehart As Beto O'Rourke Equates Abbott With Mass Murderers

So, in his closing statement in the segment, an apparently desperate O'Rourke dug deep in his slimebag, and emerged with this foul accusation.

"We have more school shootings than any other state because these kids are defenselss, not just against people with AR-15s, but a governor who will do nothing."

This was not the first time in the segment that we heard O'Rourke paint Abbott as the equivalent of a mass murderer. Earlier, Capehart ran a clip from the Abbott-O'Rourke debate earlier in the week, in which the Democrat—somehow trying to tie Abbott's initiative of sending illegals to Democrat-run states to the gun issue—said:

"This hateful rhetoric, this treating human beings as political pawns, talking about invasion of Texas and Texans defending themselves, that's how people get killed at the Walmart in El Paso."

Not a peep from Capehart in reaction to O'Rourke's hateful and outrageous allegations. Just a bland, "Beto O'Rourke, thank you very much for coming back to the Sunday Show," to end the interview. Don't miss the comedy of Beto claiming Greg Abbott's to blame for inflation in Texas!

MSNBC Host Wants Barack Obama To Lead A Hotline To Save America From Republicans

“I think we have to have a conversation as a country about how we might not know the next morning what happened,” she explained. “We might not know the day after that — and that is their point!”

“That is their point!” Wallace said again, going on to argue that some Republicans were not even running to win, necessarily, but rather, to muddy the waters and sow chaos and confusion. “Some of them will [win], unfortunately. They are running to sow discord in America. And it will change everything.”

Wallace continued down that path, claiming that Election Day might not even be a thing in two years’ time and suggesting that it might be Election Week instead.

“What we are watching, and because it’s so slow, it’s so slow, we don’t cover it as a five-alarm fire but it is,” Wallace added. “We are watching Republicans not just destroying Democracy in the dark, breaking into election offices and plugging stuff in, we’re watching them do it from rally stages. Debate stages. That’s where they’re doing it.”

Wallace then asked McCaskill directly whether she thought such unprecedented behavior called for a “Democracy commission,” adding, “Should President Obama ask Chris Christie and Ben Ginsberg to sort of man a Democracy hotline, you know, man other crises — what should we do?”

McCaskill quickly pulled back from the idea of a commission, saying instead that Republicans just had to be better. “It just take Republicans that have some character and integrity,” she said.

Obama couldn't manage a 3 car funeral. His 8 years in office are the very reason a man like Trump was able to get elected. A man with no political experience. That's the only good thing to come from 8 years of hope and change.
