For a pitbull that came onto his property. That is just stunning.
So does that mean we are no longer allowed to protect ourselves and our property from stray animals that have the potential to be vicious? We just, what? Stay inside so the animal isn't bothered by the pesky humans who actually live there?
Were the owners charged, by any chance, with allowing their vicious animal to run free? There used to be leash laws in this county, but I guess not anymore, huh?
I'd like to know who the whore that owned this dog blew in order to not have to obey leash laws, let her mutt run around terrorizing the neighbors, and when they finally get rid of the dog THEY are charged. I want to be able to break some laws and have my victims be the ones charged with a crime, too. 
I guess nothing happened to the people who were making death threats against this man, his family, and his pets on FB. Musta been some blow job. Is she a professional?

Because the police, who as you always take great pains to tell us, probably have more information than you or I have, decided to charge this guy? Who apparently bragged he was going to kill the dog, then killed the dog and them posed like it was friken trophy, you have decided the dogs owner is a whore? And you know exactly what the situation he faced was, that the dog was vicious? My point is where are your facts? We know he stated he was going to shoot the dog, and we know he posed with it.
I, unlike some, have not made one single threat. Not one. I haven't said I wanted to go to her house and shoot her. Nor have I said I want to kill her dog and string it up on a pole. That's those other people you're thinking of, the ones from the Lost Animal website, that wanted to start killing people and animals. Curious why they haven't been charged and why nobody seems to give a damn about them. Is it because they didn't take pictures so the locals could understand?
I can think of no other reason why this person got off scot free from letting her pitbull run loose. The dog would be alive today had they kept it contained - LIKE THE LAW SAYS THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO. So apparently these folks are above the law here in good ol' St. Mary's County.
If you cannot control your bully breed, you shouldn't have one. Period. The animal nutties on here always say don't blame the dog, blame the owner. Well?

I cant address why,if it's so, law enforcement hasn't taken action on those threats, you could report them and see what happens. And no, you didn't threaten anyone, that's true, but you have decided she's a whore giving BJs for favors, when all we know for sure is that her dog escaped twice. Was it viscous? Did it attack? You have no idea if those things are true. Any of them. Was it "terrorizing the neighbors"? No way for us to know, although we have not heard anyone claiming that.
You always say if the officers actions dont make sense, it's mot likely becuase they have information we dont, correct? Will you at least concur that might be the case here?

Wow, you're calling the owner a whore and that she gave a BJ to somebody to avoid charges?
She made be charged/citation (whatever they do), we don't know. There hasn't even been a news article published yet. You can't charge someone for making threats unless the laws have changed over the years. I had someone tell me they were going to kill me and I was told by the deputy they couldn't charge the person for saying that to me. I just posted in the Pets section about a yellow Lab running around loose where I live. Are you saying I have the right to shoot this dog because he keeps coming around my door?
If someone can give me a better explanation as to why this woman doesn't have to obey the law in this county and why the animal nutties think owners no longer have to be responsible for their pitbulls, I'll take it back and apologize.
Until then, the owners are pigs who killed that dog just the same as the guy who actually pulled the trigger. They should be charged as well. If they hadn't let that dog run loose it would be alive today.
Oh, and the bitch that runs the Lost Animal FB site is a mental case who should be locked away. And she should take her mentally ill friends with her.

I never looked at the site on FB. People are STUPID for saying the guy should die or his dog. Just ignorance. The owner of the dog "said" the dog was getting loose. I do agree she should get a charge/citation/whatever if she knowing let the dog run loose. But STILL I have issues with the guy shooting the dog when no one has stated the dog was vicious (except him), and shooting a gun with a home daycare right next door (probably where the Reckless Endangerment comes in). I'm sure the deputies talked to most people in the immediate area in their investigation and probably found the dog wasn't vicious or posed a threat like he claimed. Others said the kids at the daycare loved the dog. Others said his girlfriend fed and baited the dog. No one said the dog was vicious except the guy shot him. The guy seems like an imbecile and totally irresponsible gun owner.
This I completely agree with, especially if he was on probation and not supposed to be in possession of firearms in the first place. I think we all agree that posting those pics was just ignorant and disgusting. And I'm pretty sure we're all in agreement that he's a moron.
My issue is with the mindless mob (they are big time #1), the hypocrite animal nutties, and the owners who let that dog be in a position to get shot to death. It doesn't matter if the dog was a sweetie, nor does it matter if the girlfriend was feeding the dog - the dog shouldn't have been loose and she wouldn't have been able to feed it.

We'll just have wait and see if she gets "something" for the dog being loose. Now my question is, who is letting their Lab run loose in the town area of Leonardtown or is it lost? The dog is going to get hit by a car.

In response about the lady who runs the FB lost and found pets. I just had a issue on there. She posted a status about a Malamute that needed to be rehomed due to owners going to Court and being homeless. I contacted the owners and they wanted me to pick them up and take them to where the dog was(said a friend was caring for it) long story short the owners are Heroin addicts and have Warrants so I called Calvert LEO and made them aware of the people and the LEO knew them first hand and about said dog. Needless to say it was a bad situation.

The dog owner may have broken the law, but that doesn't mean that some other ####### should be able to break the law
