'This is a very strong case of bribery' : Rep. Jackie Speier on impeachment

https://www.yahoo.com/gma/very-stro...peachment-141819518--abc-news-topstories.html

A Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee defended the Democrats' strategy in the impeachment inquiry and responded on Sunday to the Republican witness requests in an interview on ABC's "This Week."
"This is a very simple, straightforward act. The president broke the law," said Rep. Jackie Speier of California. "He went on a telephone call with the President of Ukraine and said 'I have a favor though' and then proceeded to ask for an investigation of his rival. This is a very strong case of bribery."
The constitution is very clear, treason, bribery or acts of omission," she added. "And in this case it’s clearly one of those."

AP FACT CHECK: Trump's 'read the transcript' impeachment cry

:patriot::whistle:

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ap-fact-check-trumps-read-164330763.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — It's been his drumbeating demand for more than a week: "Read the transcript!"
"Just read the transcript."
"Can't we read English?"
"Just read the Transcript, everything else is made up garbage."
"READ THE TRANSCRIPT!"
People have read the transcript , though, and that's why President Donald Trump has an impeachment problem.
The whistleblower, the rough transcript of the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukraine's leader, and the words of a succession of career civil servants and Trump political appointees brought before Congress are largely in sync.

It's been a "good very strong case" for something for three years now, nothing to show for it. I think you guys just tack that on to the beginning of every delusion you come up.

.......maybe, I guess an inquiry will determine that. :patriot:
Three and a half years of Bull Poop.

Which new inquiry are you talking about...?
Everyone was the one that would kill Caesar.

No infrastructure, no health care, no education, no crime issues, no gerrymandering, no term limits, no immigration laws, no debt relief, no drug issues, no tax issues, no welfare issues, no trade issues, no pension reform, no Social Security issues, no trade agreements, no environmental reform, no energy issues, no drug price issues, et al.

Only Impeach Trump. impeach Trump, impeach Trump.

You all are going to lose big time on these issues alone....not to mention the best economy ever.....

Look not at Trump but the popularity of the the issues of the 20 nothings you have running for President........

...end of rant...

So say that the house does say impeach, do you really see the senate doing anything?

It's gonna be funny if it gets past the house..It will be hilarious when all the 20somethings are scratching their head when Trump is still in the White House...But he was impeached, how can he stay there??

The Dems have to vote to impeach. They'd look like fools if they didn't.

That's why they're doing all these "inquiries" and crap: there's nothing there and they can't legitimately impeach with what they have. And even if they do impeach - so? The Senate isn't going to convict. They need to keep this going as long as possible without resolution because they've painted themselves into a corner with no way out that benefits them.

Nancy Pelosi understands that, but she's not running the show.

I must admit your blindness to actual facts is amazing.
