Hell No and if he's not on Pre-Paid you're NUTS!

IT was all included in our plan, unlimited calling mobile to mobile and unlimited texting.

I think we need to have a chat about "excess" though. :lmao: I just went through the pages of calls and texts and I have to give him credit, none during school and none after 8:30 at night on school nights.

Perfect time to teach him responsibility... Stick his popular little ass on prepaid and make him cover it.

12 years old is high time to start teaching life lessons.

It takes a while to scan all those calls and txts

Do it online. Register your Verizon Wireless account and you can check your bill, plus all calls/txts for that billing period. Quick scan instead of item by item. :yay:

I do, I have been paperless with Verizonwireless for years. The calling has a cool feature you can link a name to a number and it shows who is calling/being called by name. Txt does not allow that. I just view all and scroll.

PETE -you asked, so I will give my humble and honest opinion. Maybe I am too old and old fashioned.

Doing a little math. Figure 8 hours of school and 8 hours of sleep (normal amount) and one hour for breakfast and dinner leaves 7 hours in a day. Multiply that times 30 days in a month gives 210 hours in a month available for calling and texting (for simplification, I will round down to 200). 4000 calls and 8000 texts (sent and received) equals 12000 times he is on the phone. That means he is calling or texting 60 times an hour or ONCE A MINUTE!!!

Yes, I personally think it is excessive. Please note I did not take out family time nor did I take out time for homework. Adding in those times would mean he is doing something on the phone every 30-40 seconds he is awake every day of the month.
