Pixie, need more of my input on this subject?

Well since what I got from most of you wasn't even input on what I was asking on input for I guess the answer would be no.

"Oh look, Pixie's growing up and making a good choice! Let's all see if we can run over and rub some salt in the wound!" :yay:

She didn't say MPG she said miles per tank.
Thank you, Pixie...at least two of us have our thinking caps on.

Oh, and for the record, I think you should go with the new Camry. I saw one yesterday (for the first time) and OMG! :faint:  :hot:

They do look nice don't they. But them damn kids would tear it up in no time. I'm in no time crunch though by any means. Maybe I'll sit on it for a while till they're not so brand spanking new. I just can't see dropping $30k on a car with a 2 and 4 year old. :faint:

:yeahthat: nothing will stay nice for long with the little ones. Same reason I'm holding off on getting new wood floors. Why waste the $$ now when they're just going to be run over with dumptrucks, baseball cleats, and chef boyardee raviolli

 When I traded my Civic, I had one stain - and that was from a blue crayon that *cough* someone had left in the backseat, in the middle of summer. I had normal wear & tear, but nothing major. My car now has taken more of a hit and K is much older now. Go figure!

You could always put up a sheet to protect it.

Boys seem to be professional mess makers. My Civic, with cloth seats, got pretty messy, but it was nothing that couldn't be cleaned up with upholstery cleaner. Now that we have the weird mesh like seats, mess hasn't been an issue.

I suppose the trick is not letting them have anything in the vehicle - no food, drinks, markers, nada! Of course you would then have to listen to their whining, but at least your vehicle would be clean.

I just didn't get the logic.

Well I didn't really see the logic in you telling me that I needed to get over the Lexus thing because it wasn't all that when it was in no way related to the conversation at hand or the question I'd originally posed.

Instead what I did see was you taking that opportunity to kick me while I was down so to speak. I don't care if it was a 88 Chevette I was getting rid of it's my car and I like the crap out of it; just like you like the crap out of your ragged out 80something vette.

Taking a low blow on someone you supposedly care about; that's logic I don't understand. But you saw the opportunity and swooped right in. :yay:

We've never let him have markers in the car, but we travel a lot, all of our family is out of state, my dad lives 8 hours away, we go to Richmond every weekend, not having food or drink in the car would just make our lives that much harder. The new vehicle has black interior, with a blue mesh overlay, spills come right out, it's awesome. :yay:

$hit girl. We moved in what, 6 months ago? The floors had just been done with an extra coat of sealer. Remax can attest to the fact that they are some of the most attractive hardwood floors out there. 6 months later, 2 boys and a dog; the finish needs to be redone. :lmao:

Remember how embarassed my ma got when I told the guy I wasn't going to get hosed? :killingme

You know I drove around for a couple days in "M" (manual) before I realized I had an autostick.

We had some fun. "Pixie's gonna KILL ME! :jameo: " you, me and Seanboy! :lmao:

The interior isn't toast by any means. It can be cleaned but it'll take some effort. I want leather interior just so I can wipe it down.

Oh for sh!t sake, Pixie. It was reverse psychology and it was a joke. What the hell is wrong with everyone these days.

And my Vette isn't ragged out.
