The problem isn't that it's HIS kid....that has nothing to do with it. He's not trying to deny she's his....he's doing the RIGHT thing. The father is wrong no matter what....right? Poor victim mommy.....dayum. I'm sick of this thread.
It's okay...one day your b/f won't have to pay CS and you'll be able to go out and afford those Jimmy Choo's. :poorbaby:

Suffering would be not paying CS at all, not having to pay every penny you make, when there is no way in hell you should have to pay that much.
Think of it this way, if you had the choice would you rather be poor or would you rather your children be poor?

If she is a cheating worthless ho why didn't he press for a trial, bring up the moral issues and go for full custody and have her pay him? Courts can be very progressive these days. More and more men are custodial parents.

I would rather be poor but I don't really think I should have to pay so much CS that they can buy ponies and PS3's

I suppose the judge feels the same way about you. If you had and still have the potential to make $100,000 a year and you don't pay the CS sum then you can buy as many ponies and PS3's as you want.

Because he didn't want to take his kids away from their mother....she is not a bad mother. He wouldn't have gotten full custody...it's hard to do that unless the mother is a druggy or something. The judge won't give him full custody just because she slept around...

How manly of you to count down to when you no longer have to support your child(ren).
thank you
I've turned down a couple of raises+transfers so I could remain in my son's life on a daily basis

If I was making the 100K I would expect to pay what I was supposed to. However, if anyone is only making 10K, I would think its because they have to, not because they want to. Who the hell wants to try to live off 10K?

Why then it is a count down for him? 10 years to what until he's not OBLIGATED by a court order...WTF does that court order really mean, it's a effing piece of paper.

Ha! I just found out that my ex is in jail for non-payment. :roflmao:
Mine is busy raising bail money for when he gets picked up  Tell me if this makes sense...
He is not paying his CS because he is trying to raise bail money. The ONLY reason he needs bail money is because he didnt wanna pay his CS, got his license taken away for nonpayment, and got caught driving on it. Then he missed his court date and now hes got a warrant. Seems to me it woulda been easier just to pay it. It's only $250 a month :duh:

It's a deduction on my paystub.

I consider it my privlege to be in my son's life on as close to a daily basis as I can.
Sorry you're bitter about your ex.
