Bit the bullet (melted the credit card?) and ordered a Corbin seat today.
Had been bidding on a used one on EBay, but somebody wanted a used one for to close to the cost of a new one. A V Strom forum member told me about a discount offered thru the forum and I got the new one with Corbin color #76, Smoke Grey, welting for less than I bid one the used one. I bid up to $55 off the price of a new seat on EBay, and the discount was $57 at Adventure MotoStuff.

I should send the guy who out bid me an e-mail and thank him

:yay: I hear Corbins are nice. I found a link on the yzf600 forum for a company that does custom seats and they do some pretty neat stuff. They have one style where they match the rear seat to the color of the bike and shape it so that it looks like a seat cowl. Of course, if you thought the Corbin was expensive...:yikes: I've also thought about buying another stock seat and modifying it into a single seat with more of a trunk under the rear seat area.

Corbins are nice seats. but they are STIFF for at least the first 500 miles. Give it time to "warm up to your butt".

I just got my new Mustang seat for the harley. Now to get everything ELSE installed. Where does the time go?
