Kids being "Ugly"

OH SURE! they are willing to help until you mention Special Needs Child! Then everyone disappears! Or haven't you figured it, most of us parents with needs children are treated like we have some type of fungus. When you are finished being ugly and can be a human again you let me know. But as is stands you are just as ignorant as anyone else that treats us parents that way.

Bottom Line! YOU HAVE NO FREAKN" CLUE!

Maybe I don't have a freakin' clue ... and yea, it's probably because I was blessed with a healthy kid for which I'm eternally thankful ... but I know this: you are doing little with your pizzy attitude to foster a better understanding of what it IS like. All I see is that your attitude is so negative that it precludes you from opening your eyes up to people who obviously are trying to help you AND your kids. I think you're looking for more reasons/excuses to fail than possibilities/opportunities to succeed.

Now, I'm gonna go find a bandaid ... there are some mysterious teeth marks on my hand.

Look. I've tried to help you and tried to give you some advice. If you think I've been ugly or inhuman to you, that's your problem. However I think I now know why nobody's willing to help you.

Sure makes me think differently about her original post:

Are you implying that you fed her? The nasty left-handed/back handed type help offered combined with an insulting attitude? I'm glad I've met darn few of the people on this board IRL.

Now I've got the attitude problem. :cheesy:

Listen up, Bucko ... I've met a darn many of the people on this forum, and I believe every single one of 'em would help someone who truly needed it if they knew them personally. And that's exactly what they tried to do in this thread -- help this chic. We don't know her; she isn't my neighbor; and she's not my cousin whom I can call up and say "Hey, Cuz, ease up, I'll take the kids for ya so you can have an afternoon to yourself." So, the extent of my ability to offer help is limited to suggesting places for her to turn for help.

Believe me, I'm sure there are a few people on here who'd vouch for the fact that if I want to make a back/left-handed comment and insult someone, I surely know how to do it.

Sure, I've seen you get your rocks off beating up people on this forum lots of times. You don't have to impress me with the fact that you like to :whip: people you've never met.

Some people just enjoy piling on more than others and from what I've seen that's your style. No big deal. It's real easy to judge that which you don't know, isn't it?

How in the hell am I beating up this chic? Let's see, I suggest Church and BBBS ... she replied:

I have TRIED All those places!!!!!!! And if you all think I can get this Doo Doo for free you are on the wrong Freakn' Planet! I don't have Money coming out my Butt! Obviously you all do! So unless you are willing to offer your services for free I don't want to hear about how I'm screwing this up! All I wanted was some ideas, you gave them, but to telll me I am not doing something that I have already done and tried to do. You all have no Freakn' clue!!!!!

Our church doesn't offer any services like that. If they DID don't you think I would have capitalized on it? He11 I couldn't even tell you the last time we had a night to ourselves. You all aparently go out ALL the time. Must be nice!

Do you all KNOW how much it cost to have some-one take your special needs kid for a night? The ARC wants nothing for the oldest, but wants $34 per hour per extra child. Now you tell me what am I to do?

You all can just Bite ME!!!!!!!
yep, I'm the bad guy. :duh:

Let's see, lots of :duh:  "Shrink" and "Monkey See, Monkey Do"

The girl comes on here as a bundle of raw nerves, looking for a little compassion. Admittedly most folks here were offering compassion, but even I know that what most women want is a place to vent for a while. Guys like to see a problem address it and put it away, female psychology frequently just wants a little sympathy.

You may now return to your loving and dysfunctional online surrogate family.

I must admit - I do get my rocks off beating up people on this forum. :blushing: But I fail to see where I beat up on Unosmom. And I don't see where CC did, either, until after Unosmom told everyone to bite her and told me that I was ugly, inhuman and ignorant.

A guy is driving in the middle of the desert, lost and clueless where he's going. Ahead in the horizon, he sees an old gas station. He pulls up and sees an old man sitting in a chair. He asks the old man if he can direct him to his destination. The old man shakes his head in response. The lost man then asks if he can direct him to the interstate. Again, the old man shakes his head 'no'. The lost man asks if there is a map he might look at to find his way. Once more, the old man replies "no". Frustrated and absent of patience, the lost man snaps, "Well, you don't know where the town is, you don't know where the interstate is, and you don't have a map. What good are you, old man?" Lifting his eyes, the old man smiles and says, "I may not be worth a damn, but I ain't the one who's lost, am I?"

Unosmom... watch "Nanny 911" every week. Seriously. Sometimes it helps to watch the parenting techniques of others. It could be an eye opener as to the little things you could do that would make it better for a better home environment for everyone. I think it's Wednesday's at 9 p.m. on Fox. :yay:

In your defense I suppose I should say that most of her reaction seems to be to Pete's comments, but I don't expect much sympathy for her from a guy like him. It's really classy the way you quoted his dig at her for your siggy line, though.

Question for you ladies: have you ever noticed that the mentally disabled are one of the few classes of people that it is PC to insult? Heck, there's even a :shortbus: smilie here. Fortunately the 'tard talk has slacked off for a while. Just don't make any cracks about SMIBs, then everybody gets worked up.

I think you're being overly sensitive. If a TRUE mentally retarded person were on here, nobody would call them a retard. It's just the ones that act like idiots but have no medical reason to do so that get called names.

Do you ever call someone crazy? If so, do you also think that's insensitive to the mentally ill?

Just a thought.

Good point, check your PMs, though for the rest.

And now that I'm thinking about it - since I'm not the most attractive person in the world, I think it's insensitive of Unosmom to call me ugly.

She's mean and I'm calling the ACLU.

I think you have a better case than just that. She also said "you have no freakin' clue", totally overlooking your handicap as a blonde. :cheesy:
