I wont speak to the optics, I care more about the reality. And as far as I know, there have been no new contracts since the election. Were these contracts to the Musk Foundation for indeterminate "support services" that were great places to launder money, I might agree. But these contracts are all public, with hard physical metrics that musts be met. And in virtually every case, they have over delivered.

Now, what about cases where the govt blatantly screwed one of his companies over? The FCC denial of Starlink being part of the Rural Broadband initiative based on old speed data, for instance. If that's fixed, it that favoritism or just correction of bias?

What I see is a company CEO who has contracts with the USG being able to directly affect government agencies due to their appointment and relationship with the President of the USA. Take any political affiliation out of the equation.
