Local Firefighter Lost

If anyone will, it would be the wife of this guy. She constantly needs attention from others. She literally would drag her dying mom and husband out for photo shoots at the Solomons pier just to post to FB about how bad they were doing and they need our prayers. Sadly the mom passed which created all new sympathy posts for years and years. Luckily the husband got surgery and made a full recovery.

What? You're being gossipy about his wife? :nono: Not the place for it.

It read a little confusing, but I don't think RB was talking about the wife of the young firefighter (if he was even married), I think she meant the wife of the firefighter she had been talking about in the previous post; that she would be the kind who would reveal the name of the firefighter the county just lost.

Oh, could be. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

I wasn't talking about the deceased's wife. As NOTSMC stated, it was the wife of my neighbor who worked for the same fire department.

Thanks for the clarification. It was a little confusing because I was talking about the recent firefighter, and his family. :yay:

I was very happy to see that no one posted the name until it was released by NAS Pax. (at least not from what I saw on social media)

The procession came down route 5 just south of the beltway. It was a beautiful moving tribute as numerous fire vehicles and firemen lined the road and bridges all standing at attention and saluting. Such a tragedy and loss.

I don't know if this is gospel or not and it didn't occur to me at the time, but I was told that all that went on yesterday was the escort of Trossbach's body back to St Mary's County. I thought it was just a tribute of some sort - really touching knowing that now.

He was honored in Leonardtown today. Flag was erected between two firetrucks, firemen out on the road and lots of firetrucks and their other various vehicles with their flashing lights on. Traffic snarled up both directions all the way back to shortly before Fairgrounds Road. I pulled over and got out of my car, as did a few others. Pretty touching.

He was honored all the way from Baltimore and Baltimore City yesterday. I dont know about along B&W Pkwy, but once they hit the Beltway every overpass and entrance to the Beltway there was a Prince Georges firetruck. Once they entered Charles County every main intersection was occupied by a piece of fire apparatus from either Charles County or Calvert down to Rt. 5 and Rt. 6. Then St. Mary's took over with their stations blocking roadways. Charles had 2 ladder trucks at the county line (St.Mary's/Charles) with the hanging flags. Viewing is going to be at the Hollywood Firehouse next Wednesday only because its the biggest place they could find for the amount people who will be coming from all over for the funeral.

Maybe you're privvy to information and details concerning dates of services for the FF, but nothing has been formally announced by NAS Pax, LFVD or the family, that I am aware of.

I would have liked to seen that.
