That fails this test:
But if just one person gets off on seeing Jesus' balls, then it is not art according to Vrai.....or is it the other way around where if just one person hangs balls on their truck are really doing it as a political free expression, or as a an expression of art it is also fails that same part of that test.
The limit on free expression is severely limited and the courts have taken this to task many times. If ANY statue can have portrayed swinging balls, then anyone can have sculpted tescicles displayed if it is not in an explicit sexual context.

care to explain your apparent view that "things I find unacceptable should be banned, but not other things because they're...ok with me...and it really doesn't matter what other people think"?

The law says "that the average adult applying contemporary community standards."

When you grow up, your opinion can count, too. Until then you can leave these decisions to the adults.

Read this:

"that the average adult applying contemporary community standards"

Keep reading it, over and over, thinking hard about what it says. What do you think it means? Read it again. 50 times. It obviously is not sinking in.

This takes away your "one person" theory, so your entire argument fails.

I never said that. But now it's clear that you realize how stupid your argument is, because you're backpedaling and attributing views to me that I didn't express.

So good that you realize it. Now be a man and admit it.

thats pretty cowardly...

"I see that you're right, but I choose not to accept it so I make an excuse for your opinion to not count."

Please explain to me what the purpose of balls on a truck is, other than in a sexual context?

And stop bringing art into it. If you think that bumper balls are "art", then you need to grow up.

And I see that you cannot read or comprehend what you read.

What part of "that the average adult applying contemporary community standards" isn't clear to you? Maybe I can explain it in smaller words so you can understand.

Just noticed this. "matter" does not affect "partially nude figure". As a matter of fact it goes to show that "partially nude figure" is not a statue because it does not include "matter" in the definition.
You have proved my point.

it doesn't need a dam purpose other than because the truck driver thinks they look cool.

To compensate for one's own shriveled berries?

Personally I don't think there really should be a law passed to make these things illegal. It's just another smoke and mirrors dog and pony show that politicians do to create the illusion of accomplishing something. Just think of how much of our money is being spent in the attempt to reign in retards. You of all people know what an effort in futility that is. :jameo:

We're all mad here.
I don't really have a problem with these "decorations", but I do understand why they're trying to ban them...

On another note, why do these trucks have to be male? I'm thinking that someone could make money selling hanging vaginas for these trucks. That is, if women would buy them. :lmao:

And I also know that if retards run around unchecked, they take over and suddenly retardation is the norm. We should NEVER give up trying to reign in the retards.

I knew of a man once who's nickname was Hog Nuts. They were there to depict hog nuts and had nothing at all to do with sex.
Also it could be a representation of a woman who hates men claiming that you mess with her, your balls will be haning from her trailer hitch.....WHATEVER you feel about the sexual excitment it gives you, for the person displaying them the reasons can be different and they can easily be so.

And stop bringing art into it. If you think that bumper balls are "art", then you need to grow up.
Wait, sculpture is not art? Silly me.
If someone hangs the balls as a political protest, it is not up to you to decide it is not protected speech because you don't like the statement.
If someone hangs the balls as an expression of beauty, it is not your right to say they do not have a right to do so because you get sexually excited by seeing them. It is not your right to say it is not art.

So you admit you're full of it and your argument has been blown to hell? Great!

1. see edit (was done before you posted)

2. what arguement? show me where he needs a reason besides "just because".

I could honestly give a chit if they get banned or not. I think they look rediculous...but the point is that people should have a right to have them there.

We would like to inform the people of Maryland that your taxes will be raised 5.0% in order to combat truck nuts :lmao:

The word "matter" does not get mentioned in "partially nude figure". If you realized that the definitions section of a subarticle specifically defines words and expressions to be used in a subsection or article (not the title, but the words USED in the sub article or article) you would know that "matter" is not "partially nude figure" or included in it.
It shows that "partially nude figure" is NOT a statue becuse if it included a statue it would either say "statue" or "matter".
