 You wouldn't catch me dead in some else's laundry...but MIL probably has no clue she's offending wifey-poo.

All it takes is for wifey-poo to grow a sack and tell MIL it bothers her....she shouldn't put her husband in the middle.
Offended or no, I think i speak for BG on this, but we would have NO problem if my mom chose to watch bubba.. and she chose to do the laundry and put stuff away.. hell, I'd ask what her favorite detergent and fabric softener was and buy it for her. I'd even buy her her very own SPECIAL custom laundry basket.. Longaberger even..

I agree....it would be SO nice if BF's mom wanted to watch our kids and do our laundry. Crap, I would have no problem paying her to do it either.

The wife obviously doesn't have the kind of relationship with her MIL where she can just tell her to quit playing with the underpants. And I suspect it's because MIL still can't quite let go of her little boy, otherwise she wouldn't feel the need to intrude on their privacy like that.

Son is the one that needs to grow a sack and tell him Mom what the boundaries are.

To all you ladies who would be perfectly fine with your MIL doing your laundry:

(Don't listen, guys)

When you have your monthly visitor, occasionally there is a little leakage. Do you REALLY want your MIL hitting that with the stain remover? Really?

Yes, I know about the program but I am not nor have I ever been on it. Like people said, you have to make damn near nothing to get daycare assistance.

No offense, but why don't you shut up? You don't need to turn every thread into a "Pick at Socki" thread.

LOL

A family of 4 surviving off of less than 40k is ridiculous!!! The system is made for people to stay trapped in it....

Not really my niece has a decent job and they pay some of her daycare.
Well, heck, how can I sign up for this program? I want to go on a cruise in November, and the daycare that I'm now paying is making it really tough to do the cruise AND pay for Christmas which is right around the corner.

Mine would only do our laundry because she is too damn nosey. She'd be digging in our pockets and checking under the bed.

BF's ex gets this for the kids's daycare. She only pays $65 every other week for a 4 year old and a 22 month old. She's a CNA and I think she only makes about $11/hr.

Well she's obviously a woman who bore a child... Not a huge deal. And I consider just about all clothing disposable. If I was getting free daycare and laundry service in my home I'd pitch the undies.

I have one of the worst ex MILs there is and I'd still let her do my laundry.
