UFB!! I know you want to help your girl but this specialist isn't making it easy:strangle:. As if you don't have enough on your mind. Can you call Dog & Cats and ask if they can send it in a different format?

I am not working this Friday, and could do the leg-work for you if the appointment is for next Thursday the 30th. PM me if needed, and I am not just saying this to be nice. I will do it for you.

AND because nothing can ever go smoothly, the oncologist office just called and they can't open the file sent by the neurologist which have Molly's scans on them and "oh can you drive up to Dogs and Cats in Bowie" and get the disc for us? Oh and this also means the oncologist won't have time in advance to review the scans sooo.... :cds:

WHOA! There is a thing called FedEx. Have the oncologist call the neuro and have a CD overnighted. Don't drive (pun intended) yourself crazy.

I got it handled. I can't have this incompetence prevent this appointment from happening. The appointment is tomorrow at 8:45 a.m.

And on an actual positive note, I'm not sure who of you remember or know Cattitude from on here, she's sending me some really positive medical alternatives to the radiation that I think we're going to try. She's a WEALTH of knowledge when it comes to boxers and/or tumor therapy !!!

She, unfortunately, came by that knowledge the hard way. Glad you're in touch with her.

Ugh... I know, it's really sad, especially most recently. She's really been helpful a number of times I've had dog (boxers are all I've had). I don't know how she does it, I have tremendous respect.

Well, looks like we are going to give it a shot. Dr. said he knows for sure he can shrink the tumor and she might even regain her eyesight. Obviously there is no certainty it won't grow back, but, he said if we didn't do it she was looking at a few months max. He said they'll give her drugs to make sure the radiation doesn't make her feel bad in any way and it'd be a 3 week process. Maybe it's a mistake, but ...

Hope all goes well. I know that if there was even a glimmer of hope, I'd do it. If they can make her comfortable with meds, it's definitely worth a try.
