As the past Champ for the last TWO years. Im not for the change during the race, too many other things happening in peoples lives to be sitting for 3-4 and even 5 hours for a race to start or finish because of a weather delay. There are other sports going on also, Nats, Caps and O's. I'd like to see the 25 point Danica bonus be dropped. maybe extra 5 points, 5 points for Timmy Hill would be nice because he is a SoMd native.
You can be a 'real fan' even if don't sit for hours to watch the race.
huntr1 is gone just about every weekend, I go past his house many times in my travels, and all his camping stuff is always gone. Its great that he has the inspiration and the desire to help young kids who are interested in the good ole Boy Scout fundamental's it keeps them off the streets and out of all the evil things that sometimes make good kids bad kids.
Im just saying don't get after people that have other things in their lives that may take them away from watching a race. We don't need to be upsetting the apple cart and have people leaving this racing forum, we have so few now.
Oh Im a old guy, I don't have all the fancy newest equipment to keep updated on everything. I tell everyone Im not smart enough to own a Smartphone. I do carry a phone but its at least 10 years old. lol
