Points system suggestion.....I'm sure to be scoffed or ignored.....

Either a one point system or a 100 point system: First place gets 43 points; or 430 points for a win; 42 or 420 for second place etc.. During "The Chase" use a 1000 point system.
43000 for first place, 42000 for second, etc. At the end of "The Chase," turn the point leader's/Champion's points to $ amounts.....perhaps added incentive.

I appreciate you taking the time to add your input. But I think that those of us that wanted a change were looking for something a little more simple that would add some excitement and enhance the points system that we currently have. Also, I like that there is no money involved. Everything in this world is all about money. It's nice to have something for fun that is free.

We should give a 10 point bonus for picking the champion at the start of the Chase. There is some merit to picking a driver that can make it through each round and finish the highest at Homestead. All the girls cried when we were going to do this in 2015, because they didn't have advance notice, so let's set it in stone before the season begins.

If I understand correctly, once the chase 1st round is set at Richmond, we each make a pick and if that driver wins the championship, we get a 10 point bonus? No re-designations after each elimination round of the chase? If I understood correctly, I vote "yes" to the bonus.

Hell with the "Commissioner" he's pretty much has left us to sink or swim, we have been swimming along quite well. Think his interest has changed from NASCAR to dirt tracks.

On a side note, Mr Oriole fan Homedepot, cant believe your great owner Peter Angelo went out and spent what 160 million on Chris Davis for 7 years, and just yesterday spent lots on Cepedas. Guess he might be trying to win it all this year. I was hoping the Nats would have gone after Davis. He might strike out a lot but I love his smooth swing. Nats are my first love since we have a team now and the O's are my American League team.

The Lerner family better open their checkbook now and work out probably the biggest baseball contract ever and sign him now before he goes free agent. Harper is huge Yankee fan and that's probably be where he would go if he ever gets to free agency.
