Did they broadcast it as a "gay guy beating a kid?"

No. An employee called it in as someone being abusive to their child in the grocery store, hitting the child excessively. SD responded. I think it carried on into the parking lot.

Miss Perky had it figured out first.

Go Perky.

I knew you where a racist! No one beat a child and maybe if your mom had spanked you instead of getting you on welfare maybe you would'nt such a child abuser yourself! You'er the one who needs to be shot for what you did to your own child and ex wife.

Sounds like the employee saw a little more htting than what the "dad" claims.

I smacked her on the bottom and walked her out of the store

I doubt anyone would call the cops over a "smack on the bottom."

When a spanking makes the situation worse, he grabs her and shoves her in the car where he smacks her again.

Well, there's that. He smacks the kid, she keeps acting up, so he smacks her again? Because that worked so well the first time?

Uh huh.

No offense, but shut up. Your tirade has nothing to do with this topic.

Almost like he was acting out of anger, don't you think? Like he was in a rage, and instead of disciplining the child he was punishing her for daring to act six years old.

That would definitely explain why people called the cops. Most people look the other way and don't get involved. If it rose to the level that actually got people motivated to do something, I don't think it was a mere swat.

You know, I never really understood why someone would smack a crying child. Do they really think that will make the kid quit crying?

It's usually something they learned as a child. They think that's the right way to do it.

My Mom never hit any of us until she was out of control, then she'd beat us. I chose to learn from that rather than repeat it. Many people don't.

I've learned that discipline is acceptable, while punishment is not. If spanking is part of teaching the child, then it can be appropriate. It cannot be done out of anger or revenge. That's when it stops being discipline and starts being abuse.

It's funny how you always have to point how smart you are.
