Need Help from parents

Hopefully I can be there!! I have been scrambling to get the funds togther for the attorney and airfare and all the info that the attorney had asked for, so I should be there soon!!
THANK YOU all for all your help in this matter, I will be keeping you updated as things go along, I had to take a break for the holidays while my son was in california, I can tell that he is unhappy over there, he was crying to me, telling me he didn't want to go back, I had to do the right (legal) thing and send him back hopefully only for a short while this time!!!

And I will go out on a limb and say this (although there are so many cool folks on here, I'm sure the offer has been made already) BUT IF NOT, Any time you need a place to stay to avoid hotel expenses, I have a guest room with it's own Bathroom. Your more then welcome to it for however long you need it. I have never been through anything like this, but have had friends with battles w/ the ex. We are Ret military, so you hopefully will feel at home. PM me for more info!

You have PM.. Want the best? Take head, for it was an uphill battle for me but to this day I've had my boy since he was 6 months old and I dropped the ex off at the prisons door step. I repeat myself IT CAN BE DONE! PM me and I'll shoot you a phone number. Need court records?? I'm experienced in pulling plenty of those shocking skeletons that just seem to appear.
Oh, and the child support rocks... because it for the child. Every bit on him!

I love it! I love it!! you guys crack me up! I thank you also for your invitation to stay and avoid hotel expenses, but by some stroke of luck, my old roommate from hawaii is also stationed at PAX, luckily we are still good friends and still keep in touch, you know how make those lifelong NAVY BUDDIES, but I think I've got that one covered, my big thing is the retainer for the lawyer... where does a military guy get 5-10,000 dollars?? sheesh! I can't just apply for a loan since the ex messed up my credit too!

Did you contact the Navy Relief office as Pete mentioned in previous post? Are they able to provide assistance? I don't know who you have for an attorney here, but my attorney, while dealing with my custody and child support case, allowed me to make the retainer in payments. I did not have to come up with the full amount all at once.

I'm sticking with the attorney that came highly recommended by lots of you, I am going to call again this morning with the news of the grand jury indictment and see if that changes things and try to negotiate with the retainer.
Is a grand jury indictment enough for CPS to get involved now??

Trial has been transferred to circuit court since the indictment, trial for POSESSION with the intent to DISTRIBUTE (4 seperate charges). proceedings begin in april for both the ex and her husband. Looks like they have 4 police officers and a forensic chemist as witnesses for the state, looks like they're really going after her.
To add to all this, my son told me that she was pregnant, if the timing is correct, she was using while she was pregnant and may have this child in prison.
I am glad that i severed my ties with her when i did.

nope! I called the attorney and CPS with the news of the indictment and they said it doesn't change anything since she still has not yet been found guilty.
also, i emailed the state's attorney with info but never got a response.
