Altered Carbon won't be out until sometime late this year or in the first half of next year from what I see reported. It will also only have 8 episodes instead of 10. :( I did see it mentioned if it does well, they are planning on a 5 season run.
The next season of Altered Carbon premieres tomorrow, February 27th, on Netflix. :yahoo: Reviews so far are great. :yay:

Good to know. That was next on my list.

Yeah, it's pretty damn fun. And I've been waiting for Altered Carbon for a while. Wife and i just finished season one of Locke and Key, which was pretty good. I'm working my way through the newest season of the Expanse.

Watched 'Spenser Confidential' on Netflix over the weekend. Typical buddy action movie starring Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke. Palatable enough and entertaining in places, but also has a very obvious setup for the next movie at the end. I give it 2 out of 4 stars.

Just watched two Bert Kreischer standups (Hey Big Boy and Secret Time) on Netflix.

I was crying laughing at some spots. Definitely recommend if you have a few hours to kill and need a laugh.

Here's a trailer for "Hey Big Boy".

Upload on Amazon.

Strange but funny.
I put that on my 'try it and see' list. May check it out this weekend. :yay:

Watched 'Her' with Joaquin Phoenix last weekend on Netflix. He sure picks some strange roles but this was a well done movie.

Watched this on Prime and it was so-so. A lot of potential but it never really took off. :ohwell:

Watched "Honey Boy" on Amazon Prime, written by and starring Shia LeBouf and loosely based on his life with an abusive, alcoholic father. Tough to watch in places but very well acted. :yay:

I also watched a documentary on Netflix called "Circus of Books," which told the story of a nice Jewish couple who, having fallen on hard times and was looking to find a way to support their young family, answered an ad in the newspaper and how they wound up becoming the biggest distributors of gay porn in the US. It was interesting look at how they led a double life, being the typical household and shielding their kids and family from what they really sold at that bookstore.

Just finished watching Only on Netflix. Pretty good movie! A virus is wiping out the female population and there is a bounty out for the living so their eggs can be harvested to repopulate the world.

The second season of The Umbrella Academy dropped yesterday on Netflix. :yahoo: Also coming in September to Netflix is Ratched, based on the character Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Looks great in previews! :yay:
