My girls (GSD) came as strays; I surrendered them to animal control who told me they were "usual suspects"-the owner couldn't control them and they were always running loose. I claimed them a short while after; found out they were sisters-they've been with me for 5 yrs. They are very tolerant of this young thing and quite patient.

As long as it's NOT made in China - I'll look. I am trying hard to not buy things made in China, but it is hard to find alternatives sometimes.
I never thought of that! I know this might sound stupid, but I've thought for a while, that China is slowly trying to kill our pets off.

That picture is so cute. And Big Momma seems OK with him sitting there. I'm glad he is OK, and the neutering went well. Micro Chip too right?

He's doing great all around, too smart really. I was told his breed can climb trees-nothing would surprise me! :jameo:

Yes, they can climb trees and their toe-nails are terrible to cut! Keep up with the toe-nail cutting NOW! They can also jump 6ft at a stand still if they want to. We did a bunch of agility in our back yard with ours and she continued to surprise me. One day when my husband was out of town, my neighbor came running over to say ours was on the other side of the fence. She jumped it for some reason. I found her terrified on the other side of the fence wanting back in. LOL But she wouldn't jump back in. Go figure!

Thanx for sharing! Each day I discover some new talent he possesses, it's been a long time since I've had a pup-I'm loving him more and more each day.

I plan to use a dremel instead of clippers, I've exposed him to it-the smell & sound, so far so good-luckily his nails are clear/white; will make it easier to see the quick.

This pup has turned out to be more than I could ever want-he is so mellow for a 7 mos. old; so easy to train and has blended in perfectly...I'm very blessed that he rescued me.
