Agree, but it seems pretty obvious that they plan to add a center lane through the whole stretch all the way up to the hospital which should help considerably.

They've already started and completed one high-rise bridge while the L'town Hwy 5 project has been underway; likely to complete the new Solomons bridge before finishing, too!

There should be a divider between the North and South lanes. They should have allowed for a concrete divider. In addition, it would have shielded traffic from the blinding LED headlights. It would accomplish two birds with one stone. It doesn't happen very often these days. People do not know how to stay off of their cell phones. I am surprised a head on along this stretch of road hasn't happened yet. As traffic increases, so does the possibility.
Just wait until they start on the Elevated Leonardtown Bypass Project.
Speaking of elevated... when do they start the new Rt 4 & 235 intersection with the flyovers?
