Only downside to riding a motorcycle to work...

I've ridden in the rain three times in the last ten days, 50 degree weather, my hands were wet, but they were NEVER cold!

A $2.00 pair of dishwashing gloves worn over your riding gloves will keep your hands dry and dry = warm.
Planning on using a pair on my ride to Stanton this Friday.

Still one of the fastest cruisers around. :yay: But it's a V-4 instead of a V twin so sales it doesn't have the look..
The 45 was a 750cc and the 65 was an 1100 cc. Think they still make the 750.

I rode 580 miles Friday and Saturday. Friday to Wilmington DE, then to Danville, PA. Saturday Danville, PA back to here. Friday was great but saturday I rode about 90 miles in the rain and it sucked huge. Rained all the way frm Danville to just below York.

I hate riding in the rain. Dunno where that threshold is where the tire will let go in a turn so I ride much slower. Then cars tend to tailgate adding to the anxiety. Fortunately only been caught a few times.

 Thought you bought a Harley? Don't you know you're only supposed to ride them at most a 1,00 miles a year and only on sunny days?
You're supposed to keep them in the garage where you can admire them, polish the chrome and add gen-u-wine HD (hundred dolla) accessories.

Riding in the rain stings. So does a bug hit, directly in the middle of your forehead. :ohwell:

I bought mine to ride and ride it I do. I have sunk about $400 in extra stuff so far and it is almost complete. It is shiney and when I am not riding it, it does sit in the garage where I admire it.

It rides very nice. :yay: I don't have to downshift as often as my Honda, I don't have to whip it like a dog to go 70 down the road. My accesories for the Honda were not cheap eaither and there were not as many. It got tiresome checking out Ebay and seeing the same lamo chrome colored plastic horn cover listed 70 times. My Honda was a nice bike, but this one is much nicer :yay:
