I wonder, how long would it be before one group realized that the students from the other group are getting more of the good grade money, and launch some sort of program to even out the payments?
If payments would be made I would suggest that it be held in an escrow account to gain interest, then when the child reaches the age of college, the money could be applied toward the tuition fee's.
This way, the money is not going to be wasted on the newest fad tennis shoes, or some necklace with their name in gold, or even a set of spinner hubs for their bike.
I would certainly not advocate giving any student a check for grades directly.
