As a former law enforcement officer all I have to say to RC is. I hope you get pulled over everytime you go ANY amount over the posted speed limit.
Richard Cranium said:Because you never speed or fail to yield the right of way, correct? And if you did, you wouldn't flash your badge, right?

Me too, I could picture them running out the back door of Roses, through the woods and screaming nearly naked down the middle of Willows road, being pursued by several forumites who I won't name.Chasey_Lane said:I actually thought (by reading the name of this thread) that there were actual farm animals on Willows Road.![]()

I never got pulled over from that speed trap (which indeed, it is. Refer to previous post about signs leading up to Lancaster Park). I'm curious, though, how much revenue was generated from these tickets and where the money is going.
Sure, the local yokel has his job to do. If given the option of hanging out between A&E Motel and Canopy Liquors or sitting in the church parking lot to write tickets to easy pickins, which do you think he would choose? Priorities are pretty obvious when comparing these two.
I've almost....almost considered standing near the Maryland Bank with a sign over my shoulders with the front saying SLOW DOWN and the back saying SPEED TRAP AHEAD. The pigs would love that one...let me guess...I'd get arrested/fined for obstruction of justice.
What do you have against cops?Richard Cranium said:The bacon in blue

The solution to this problem seems very simple to me - don't speed and you won't get a ticket. Dur.
